the Summer that was 2008

Well our summer is flying by quickly but we have had lots of fun. I started a new job in June at the Pulmonary Clinic working for Dr Yu. The change has been great and I am loving my evenings, weekends and holidays at home. Bill has been staying busy at work with lots of new projects and has also been dabbling in a little soccer coaching here and there.

In May we traveled with my family to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for a week. It was a great time on the beach everyone and we can't wait to go back.
June found us on the road to Marquette, MI with the Hewitt's for our friend Kay's wedding celebration. It was a great trip with lots of scenic driving, hiking, and quality time with college friends.
It was camping that kept our July weekends full. We spent a weekend with friends during our annual Team Larson camping trip to Zumbrota, MN. It was an great weekend with just a little fun. We then celebrated Bill's parents 40th wedding anniversary at a cabin in Lake Benton, MN. We had lots of fun on the lake and spending time with family. We wrapped up our camping weekends with a trip to Valentine, NE to float down the Niobrara River with the Albrechts and Ravellettes. Our theme this year was nerds and Tasya was the proud winner of the traveling trophy.

August has started off a little slower but with lots of birthdays coming up I'm sure we will be just as busy. If anyone is around on the 15th we will be celebrating Bill's 30th and we'd love to have you help celebrate.

Until next time....
